Sunny Beach

The Meeting of Light and Sky

Martine Goulmy

A vast beach, bathed in soft golden tones, is embraced by a dramatic sky where clouds dance with the light. The reflections on the sand capture the movement of the sky, while the horizon marks the meeting point between earth and infinity. People and dogs, small figures in the distance, add a touch of liveliness to this majestic natural scene. “Sunny Beach” is an image that captures the grandeur of nature and reminds us of our place within the greater whole. The contrast between the dark clouds and the bright blue openings in the sky emphasizes the power and mystery of the weather, while the warm light brings a sense of hope and serenity to the scene. This work invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the timeless beauty of the beach and the sky. My passion for photography began at a young age. At twelve, my parents gave me my first camera, and that gift marked the start of a lifelong journey. With that camera in hand, I discovered how to capture the world around me and tell my own stories. Since then, my camera has been my constant companion, and I have continuously refined my perspective. I am self-taught and have developed my own style by experimenting and following my curiosity.
