An old wooden stool, a measuring tape twisting and stretching, and the curious presence of a cockatoo. This still life reveals the tension between our desire to structure the world and the freedom that resists boundaries and measurement. The tape, a symbol of control and limitation, transforms in the bird’s play into an endless line – a path that continues beyond the frames we try to impose.
The work is part of the theme Without Borders, where the boundary between order and freedom, between human and nature, becomes tangible.
